Yesterday, the international sailing training regatta, Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024, concluded with a historic maritime parade in the three harbors of Tallinn. Both the Tall Ships Races vessels and those participating in the Muhu Väina regatta joined forces for an impressive display on the bay of Tallinn.
The international sailing training regatta brought 60 sailing ships to Tallinn. They were joined by the vessels participating in the A. Le Coq 67th Muhu Väina regatta that starts today, along with several other sailing yachts not competing in the race. After the maritime parade, the Tall Ships Races training ships set course for Finland.
At the cruise area of Vanasadam, children enjoyed games with a ship captain, various sporting games, and competitions, with performances by Bashment DJ live and Bombillaz.
In Lennusadama harbour, Lotte, Roosi and the bug band performed, stories and songs from Ruhnu island were presented, and the band Terminaator also took the stage. Entertainment for children included a fun program and the Premia children's run.
In Noblessneri sadam, Omatsirkus performed, Desiree Dance Studio put on a show, and children participated in sporting games and competitions.
The traditional Tallinn maritime festival will take place again next year.
